OUR MISSION

The timeless battle between light and darkness has been a central theme throughout history in literature, mythology, and spiritual teachings, symbolizing the ongoing conflict between good and evil and truth and falsehood. Genesis 1 tells us that the Earth was in darkness until God produced light, a light fully realized when Jesus Christ came into the world. We are now called to reflect that light, as we were instructed to in Matthew 5:16, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."

That is our mission – to shine that light and illuminate the profound truths of the Bible through the lens of scientific inquiry. In a world where the light of truth is often overshadowed by doubt and information, we stand firm in our conviction that faith and reason are not mutually exclusive. Romans 1:20 affirms this by telling us that God's invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – are clearly seen in creation, leaving people without excuse. Evidence of God's handiwork is all around us if we only look.

We are committed to shining the light of biblical truth in an era increasingly consumed by spiritual and intellectual darkness by supplying seekers with the truth on Biblical teachings and the tools necessary to explore those truths. Through a wealth of resources, including a dedicated blog on the subject, scholarly articles from peer-reviewed scientific journals, and interactive tools like our Bible app, we empower visitors to seek the truth with open minds and hearts, dispelling ignorance with the light of understanding.

Just as the Earth was first in darkness, science has recently theorized the universe began in darkness. This mirrors the biblical theme of the battle between light and darkness. When we look at the night sky, we see much darkness, but knowing the universe was once all darkness before God created it and gave it His light, we recognize the prevailing presence of light. First, John 1:5 states, "God is light; in Him, there is no darkness at all." The example of the universe, just like the Earth, shows us that light will ultimately prevail.

Revelation 21:23-24 beautifully encapsulates this victory: "The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the Earth will bring their splendor into it." This future vision underscores our hope and mission: to live in and spread the light of God's truth.
